Information we may receive
When you contact DS Media, we may receive your name, email address, telephone number, business details, the service you are interested in and anything you include in your message.
If you start the pay monthly website process, we may also receive and store your questionnaire answers, service and pricing information, branding preferences, domain details, uploaded photographs, logos and documents, your progress through the form, and a record of when you accepted the website plan terms.
If you submit a website update request, we may receive your contact and business details, the website address, the changes requested, any deadline you provide, and attached images or documents.
Our hosting and security providers may also process limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, requested page and the time of your visit, to deliver and protect the website.
How your information is used

Contact forms and email
When you send an enquiry through this website, the details you enter are sent to DS Media by email. Your email provider may also process that message under its own privacy policy. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information through the enquiry form.
Website questionnaires may be saved before submission so that you can return using a private link. Uploaded files and saved answers are used to prepare and provide the website service. Anyone with the private return link may be able to open and edit the saved questionnaire, so it should not be shared publicly.
Website update requests and their attachments are stored so that DS Media can review, clarify and complete the requested changes.
Direct Debit payments
Direct Debit setup and collection are provided by GoCardless. Bank details are entered directly into the GoCardless service and are not received or stored by DS Media. GoCardless processes payment information under its own privacy policy and regulatory obligations.
Cookies, analytics and embedded video
This website uses necessary browser storage to remember whether you allowed or rejected non-essential services. This preference does not track you and remains on your device until you change it through “Cookie settings” or clear the site data in your browser.
If you choose “Allow”, Google Analytics and the Google Ads tag use cookies such as _ga and _gcl_* to help DS Media understand visits, page use, enquiries and how advertising performs. Information may include pages visited, interactions, approximate location, device and browser information, and how you reached the site. We may measure actions such as opening the website-plan application, submitting that application and submitting an enquiry. Your questionnaire answers, name, email address, telephone number, message, uploaded files and bank details are not sent to Google Analytics or Google Ads.
Google Analytics and Google Ads are blocked until you give permission. DS Media does not use this website to create personalised advertising audiences. The video production page uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player, supplied by Google, and it is also blocked unless you choose “Allow”. You can withdraw permission at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer; the site will stop these services and remove its first-party analytics and advertising cookies where possible. Who information may be shared with
DS Media does not sell your personal information. Information may be handled by trusted providers used for email, website hosting, security, administration or professional advice. It may also be disclosed where required by law. Providers are only given the information needed to perform their role.
How long information is kept
Information is kept only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, to maintain business records, resolve queries and meet legal or accounting requirements. It is then deleted or securely disposed of.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, object to certain uses, or ask for a portable copy. You may also withdraw consent where consent is being relied on.
