Who the agreement is with

The website plan
The plan includes the design and build of one tailored one-page business website, website wording created from the information supplied by the client, a mobile-friendly layout, an enquiry form, SSL security, hosting, backups, maintenance, one suitable .co.uk domain where required, and ongoing small content changes.
The plan is intended for straightforward business websites. Ecommerce, member areas, complex booking systems, large catalogues, custom applications, additional pages and other substantial functionality are not included unless agreed separately in writing.
Price, Direct Debit and minimum term
The service costs £39 per month with no upfront website build fee. Payments are collected securely by Direct Debit through GoCardless. DS Media does not receive or store the client’s bank details.
The agreement has an initial minimum term of 18 months. After the first 18 months, the complete service—including hosting, backups and included updates—continues at £39 per month until cancelled by either party with one month’s written notice.
The client must maintain a valid Direct Debit mandate and ensure payments can be collected when due. If a payment fails or the mandate is cancelled during the minimum term, the agreement and outstanding payment obligations do not automatically end.
Information and material supplied by the client
The client must provide accurate business, service, pricing and contact information and must have permission to use every logo, photograph, review, document or other item supplied to DS Media. The client remains responsible for checking factual accuracy, prices, claims and any legal or industry-specific wording before approving the website.
Passwords and sensitive banking information must not be submitted through the website questionnaire. Any access needed for a domain or existing service will be arranged separately.
Initial draft, review and approval
DS Media will use the completed questionnaire and supplied material as the website brief. When the initial draft is ready, the client will receive a private preview and may request reasonable changes within the agreed one-page scope. The website will not be made live until the client has had the opportunity to review it and approve the final version.
Requests that substantially change the original brief, introduce new pages or require functionality outside the plan may be quoted separately.
Ongoing changes
Small changes to existing content are included while the plan remains active. Examples include updating contact details, service wording, prices, opening hours and photographs within the existing layout.
A redesign, new page, new service system, complex form, integration or substantial rewrite is not a small change and may require a separate quote. DS Media will explain this before carrying out chargeable work.
Domains, hosting and cancellation
Hosting and any included domain managed by DS Media remain part of the active monthly service. If the plan ends after the minimum term, hosting will finish at the end of the notice period unless another arrangement is agreed.
Provided the account is fully paid, the client may request transfer of a DS Media-registered domain and a copy of the completed static website files. Any third-party transfer charge or substantial migration work will be explained before it is incurred.
Availability and responsibility
DS Media will take reasonable care when designing, hosting and maintaining the website but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular search position or a specific number of enquiries or sales. Third-party services, domain registries, email providers and internet platforms remain outside DS Media’s direct control.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
